It's festive season! I love October-December because of the back-to-back big holidays! I find that holidays are a great time to work on some of the smaller standards like those language standards! Here's a breakdown of some Thanksgiving Language and Writing Activities that are easy, silly, fun, and best of all NO PREP activities you can easily use this month!
Set the Tables
Students can "set the tables" by identifying adjectives and adverbs!
Feed the Turkeys
Same as "setting the table" your kids are sure to giggle as they "feed the turkeys" nouns and verbs!
Parts of Speech Turkey
Similar to traditional color-by-number activities this one is color by parts of speech!
Thanksgiving Syllables
Breaking words apart by syllables is such an effective way to remind students that they can break words apart when reading or writing. Kids are never too old to practice this!
Thanksgiving Vocabulary
In my experience, vocabulary is easily put on the back burner. This activity makes the perfect Thanksgiving-time morning work!

Thanksgiving Acrostic Poem
Thanksgiving Lined Writing Paper
Writing is always more fun on special paper! Provide your students with this Thankful-themed lined writing paper and have them practice gratitude while getting in some writing practice! Best of all this is FREE!
